Surrey Training Group Meeting – December 2023

On Thursday 14^th of December, we held our last Surrey Training Group meeting of the year. We welcomed our members back to our CISTC Training Centre at Natta Head Office.

David began the meeting with an introduction and some background on his work history in construction. He shared the meeting agenda and discussed the latest updates and the benefits of being a member of the Group.

David spoke about the current work programmes available in the industry such as work experience and apprenticeships. The meeting brings the opportunity for the Group to be a resource for all training as well as establish stronger network links between our members.

CITB, who partners with the Surrey Training Group shared the latest CITB news and updates, as well as meaningful advice to our members. CITB are the industry training board for the construction industry in England. It is their job to support the construction industry to attract talent and support skill development.

The CISTC team were also available throughout the meeting to discuss and advise on any training enquiries that the members had. To get everyone into the Christmas spirit, mince pies, teas and coffees were enjoyed by all at the meeting.

David commented “For my first meeting I was delighted to meet our Group Members. I look forward to supporting and advising our members in the upcoming meetings on the latest industry training developments.”
