Surrey Training Group Meeting- 20th September 2018

Today we were delighted to hold our latest Surrey Training Group Meeting. Welcoming existing and new members to our Training Centre at head office; the morning began with a networking breakfast.

Toni Gray, Group Training Officer for the Surrey Training Group started the meeting by giving a quick introduction on the agenda of the meeting. She also covered some interesting industry news, surrounding construction training.

Mental Health & Stress in the Construction Industry

Our guest speaker Dawn Fiske, from Milestone Training and Coaching, then gave a presentation about ‘Mental Health & Stress in the Construction Industry.’ She provided some useful stress management tips and advice surrounding mental health in the workplace.

Our members then took part in a group discussion, speaking about Mental Health in the Construction Industry and what workplaces need to change and improve. Overall, the meeting was extremely successful and saw a variety of companies collaborating together to offer advice and guidance on an important subject.
