CITB Grants and Funding Workshop to be held at CISTC training rooms!

CITB are set to hold their next Grants and Funding update at our CISTC training rooms. The session will be presented by Shirley Ratcliffe and will take place on Tuesday the 25th of April. The event will run from 8.30 am – 1 pm and will include refreshments and a buffet lunch. This will be provided via the canteen facilities on site.

Funding Workshops

CITB hold several funding workshops each year. These sessions aim to share updated information on any changes to the 2019 / 2020 grant scheme, funding. They also, provide advice on the training model and standards. Plus one on one assistance is available from advisors at the end of each session. These events from CITB provide a fantastic opportunity for construction companies and employers alike, who can network and discover all of the business benefits that CITB can offer.

Surrey Training Group

At the workshop in Farnham, Group Training Officer, Toni Gray, from Surrey Training Group will be explaining the benefits to members who may be considering joining the group. The Surrey Training Group work in direct collaboration with the CITB. They offer members a chance to upskill their workforce, provide a place to network, hear the latest industry news and updates, and each meeting also includes a keynote speaker. Previous talks have included, mental health in construction to health and safety in the workplace, amongst others.

The main aim of the group is to provide a meaningful forum, with open discussion to improve staff learning and development. Surrey Training Group is fully inclusive and welcomes all construction trades. Whether you are based in Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, West Sussex or beyond. The group is able to offer different things for each member. All sized businesses are encouraged to join, from small to large companies.
